Thank you so much for your interest in joining the Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP)! We are very interested in meeting you and sharing more information about our wonderful organization.
BACKGROUND – WHO IS THE JLP?
We are philanthropists, activists, executives, entrepreneurs, mothers, students, and full or part-time volunteers. The JLP is a group of women who are united by a common mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. We reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
ELIGIBILITY AND RECRUITMENT
Our membership is open to all women ages 21 and older who express interest in developing their potential for voluntary community participation. As a member of the Junior League of Pasadena, you will be presented with an opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals in our community. We strive to make sure you receive training not only to perform your volunteer activities within the League, but also to become a civic leader in our community or beyond.
We encourage you to attend one of our new member orientations (stay tuned for summer date announcements). Please email our Provisional class chair with any questions that you may have (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our membership application process is very straightforward. We ask that, if possible, you attend an open house to learn more about the JLP. Then, just fill out and send in an application by September 20, 2016.
