Thank you for your interest in joining the Junior League of Pasadena (JLP). Each year JLP trains first-year members (New Members) to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community.
All New Members complete a comprehensive training course designed to introduce you to JLP, our members, our community partners, and the amazing projects we support. During this course you will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities, community projects, trainings, and social events.
Your first year will consist of class meetings held at JLP Headquarters on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings open with a light dinner and social, followed by training and activities intended to introduce you to JLP programs and projects, including the New Member project site PasadenaHelp.org, as well as provide you with the tools to make a difference in our community and develop lasting friendships. You will also be invited to General Membership Meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month where membership is kept informed on the work and progress of the entire League.
As a New Member, you will become part of an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Some of the benefits of membership include:
